Today in America Reviews Electric Cars

Electric cars stand poised to take the car market by storm. These vehicles take the concept of hybrid cars a step further, by not using gasoline at all. As manufacturers create models with greater driving ranges, these vehicles promise to become even more popular. Currently, the limited driving range of electric cars, with most topping out around 100 miles, deters many consumers from purchasing them. However, manufacturers are developing technologies that will extend the driving range of such vehicles, making them more practical. Electric vehicles run exclusively on electricity, and do not produce emissions. Therefore, they reduce the demand for oil, and reduce people’s carbon footprints. The environmental benefits and cost savings from not having to purchase gas make these vehicles alluring to many consumers.
